You don’t need any specialist equipment or previous experience to make a pair of cute little mice that you will feel super proud of. Everything you need to get started is inside the box so it makes a great activity for a rainy day or a special gift for someone creative.

Needle felting is a wonderfully mindful hobby as it allows you to relax and focus. It involves poking wool fibres with a special barbed needle to make intricate, life-like animals and models. The kit comes inside a pretty display box and includes enough high-quality merino wool to make two sweet mice, one white and one mink. They are very simple to make and will keep your hands busy for hours.

Inside your kit you will find soft merino wool fibres in three pastel colours, two pairs of eye pins, a specialist needle and full photographic instructions, plus a needle-felting basics guide full of our top tips.

You don’t need anything special to take up this wonderful craft. Simply find a cosy spot to sit and a soft surface to work on. A large bath or car sponge or a soft cushion will do if you are just beginning, we have the perfect felting foam available or a clover felting mat.

A sharp pair of scissors, a nice cup of tea, a comfy chair and maybe even a biscuit.
