is proud of its very own Tekapo Yarn. It is 100% pure New Zealand, with
the wool grown on sheep farms around New Zealand and yarn spun in a
small boutique mill in Hawkes Bay. This semi worsted yarn is a blend of
corriedale and perendale especially designed for softness and strength.
It is lofty and bulky and ideal for knitting, weaving and knit/felt
garments, accessories and projects.
The yarn is named after the
beautiful Lake Tekapo, just 90 minutes south-west of Ashburton. The
lake, ringed by snow capped Southern Alps and glaciers is famous for its
bright turquoise colour caused by its suspended glacial dust. In 1857
one of the first sheep stations in the New Zealand was established on

Returns must be made within a month, in as new condition with tags attached, unless faulty. Due to health regulations, we are unable to exchange or refund on any underwear, earring or alike purchases unless faulty within the warranty period. We recommend sending returns via registered post as we do not accept responsibility for lost items.
When goods are returned within warranty period, and the product is no longer available or repairable, The Wool Room will replace with equal or similar product and if not possible, offer a credit/refund at the current market value less our restocking fee solely at our discretion.
